Haridwar, Dec 12 (ANI): Yoga Guru Ramdev on Friday hailed UN's decision to celebrate June 21 as International Day of Yoga and said India was always recognized for its Yoga. The United Nations declared June 21 to be celebrated as International Day of Yoga, a demand put forward by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address to the United Nations early this year. The 193-member UN General Assembly approved by consensus a resolution establishing a day to commemorate the ancient practice. Modi tweeted after the decision by the UN that "Am seeing tremendous enthusiasm among all of you after the @UN declared 21st June as 'International Day of Yoga.' It is very gladdening."
