Update: "Yevadu" Teaser Released, Watch Ram Charan's Exception Dancing Skills in VIDEO

Ram Charan's "Yevadu" is gearing up for a Sankranti release next year. The film's team had kept the details low key but the producer has confirmed in a press statement that "Yevadu" will hit screens in January 2014.

The film's teaser will be released on 1 January, whereas the theatrical trailer will be out on 3 January. The exact date as to when the film will hit theatres is yet to be announced.

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, "Yevadu" is a commercial entertainer with Ram Charan and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Amy Jackson, Sai Kumar, Jayasudha, Brahmanandam and Rahul Dev also appear in pivotal roles. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal make cameo appearances in the film.

The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, whereas its cinematography is handled by Shyam K. Naidu.

"Yevadu" was expected to release around six months ago, though it did not happen. The Ram Charan starrer was delayed due to Seemandhra issues and other film releases. Finally, the film is getting ready to hit screens in 2014.

The film is heading for a big clash with Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine" which is also gearing up for a massive release during Sankranti. While Mahesh Babu's film is generating a lot of pre-release buzz, "Yevadu" has remained low key.

The trailer of "1 Nenokkadine" was expected to release on 25 December as a Christmas gift for fans but it did not happen. Buzz is that the film's theatrical trailer will not be released until the New Year. It is not clear whether the trailer will be releasing on the same day as Ram Charan's "Yevadu" teaser releases.
