Guwahati/ Tura, Oct 01 (ANI): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday took aerial survey of flood affected states of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. He also held a meeting with Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and later with Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma over the situation in the states. Singh further announced funds released by the central government to the state governments. He said that according to the information received, in Assam 40 people have died, in Meghalaya 55 and in Arunachal Pradesh 56. He assured of all possible help to the states by the government of India. Further, Singh appealed all the political parties to come together to help the people in these areas.
