Srinagar, Sep 06 (ANI): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday arrived in Srinagar city of Jammu and Kashmir to take stock of the situation in the flood affected region. Singh couldn't take the aerial survey due to bad weather conditions but state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah drove him in his car to show the damage. Singh assured that the central government will help the state in all possible manners and that it provide all relief whatsoever. Singh also announced compensation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 Lakh for kin of people who died due to the flood and Rs 50,000 for injured.
