R Kannan's previous Tamil film "Oru Oorla Rendu Raja" had some important train sequences and the director has now said that rain is an important element in his upcoming film "Poda Aandavane En Pakkam".
The upcoming film, produced under the director's home banner, is set to go on floors soon.
"Most of the story unfolds during the monsoon. Rain will play an important element in this beautiful love story," Kannan told IANS.
"Poda Aandavane En Pakkam" has Vishnu Vishal and "Pisasu" fame Prayaga Martin in the lead roles.
Meanwhile, rain has always become an important element in many Indian films.

As the name suggests, rain played an important part in Jayam Ravi and Shriya Saran's 2005 film "Mazhai". The popular songs of the film "Nee Varumbodhu" and "Mannile" were shot in the rain.
Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has mesmerised the south audience with her performance in various Tamil films. Her musical romantic film "Kandukondain Kandukondain", released in 2000, had the hit song "Suttum Vizhi" with Abbas shot in the rain.
