Gorakhpur, Dec 04 (ANI): The railway authorities cancelled at least 16 trains as dense fog descends upon Uttar Pradesh. Heavy fog and haze covered Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh, leading to delay and cancellation of trains passing through the area. Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of northeastern Railways, Alok Kumar Singh, said on Thursday (December 04) that drivers are given precautionary orders not to exceed the speed of trains to avoid any mishap amid low visibility. Besides, certain trains have been rescheduled and their destinations and routes changed to avoid congestion, Singh said. Passengers are facing undue inconvenience.
