Guwahati, Sep 16 (ANI): Union Railway Minister, Sadananda Gowda, on Tuesday (September 16), expressed satisfaction as he reviewed Northeast Frontier Railway in northeastern Assam state. Gowda held review meetings with the departmental heads and other officials. He said the federal government aimed at completing 34 various ongoing projects of Indian Railways in the northeast over the next six years. Gowda said he has laid special emphasis on cleanliness, catering and safety in his budget. He said he wanted to give importance to the passengers of northeastern states. Gowda said connectivity to states of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh was already established.
