Shah Rukh Khan's "Ra.One" has superseded the box office records of Salman Khan's "Bodyguard," which was released August 31.

Comparing the opening day collections of both films, there was a buzz that "Ra.One" could not break the record of Salman Khan's top grosser film. However, as days pass, the superhero film appears to become the highest grosser of the year.
