Here's some sad news for fans of television actress Disha Parmar, who rose to popularity with "Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara." The actress, who was to make her comeback with a new show "Bhaukaal," now rechristened "Ghulaam," has reportedly been replaced.

Niti Taylor of "Kaise Yeh Yaariaan" fame has apparently bagged the role. However, Niti chose not to divulge more details about the decision. "Talks are on but nothing is final at the moment," she told Tellychakkar.com.

The show, which will be aired on Life OK channel, stars Param Singh of "Sadda Haq" fame as the male lead. Vikkas Manaktala will also make his comeback to the small screen after a gap of two years with this show. He was last seen on "Main Naa Bhoolungi."

The piece of news may come as a shock for fans, as Disha, Vikkas and Param had recently shot for the pilot episode in Delhi. "Post the pilot, the makers wanted to try out new changes. The channel and producers decided to replace the female lead owing to some changes in the creative plans," a source told Tellychakkar.com.

Meanwhile, Niti recently made headlines when she was rumoured to be a part of "Diya Aur Baati Hum season 2." But it appears that the actress will finally take up "Ghulaam."

In other news, Disha was also considered for the role of the grown-up Rani on "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani," which went through the time jump of a generation a few months ago. The actress had also taken the screen test but could not bag the role.
