Prudhvi Raj's wife files harassment, cheating complaint; his son Sreenu refutes 'false rumours'

Prudhvi Raj's (Prudhviraj) wife K Kavitha has reportedly filed a cheating and harassment complaint against the Tollywood comedian with Hyderabad Police, but his son has denied the reports.

According to reports, Kavitha visited Banjara Hills police station on Sunday and filed a case against comedian Prudhvi Raj. In her complaint, she alleged domestic harassment and cheating.

She claims that Prudhvi Ra has an affair with a woman named Padma "When I questioned him about the affair, he said that he would do as he pleased," Kavitha was quoted as saying in the complaint.

In her complaint, Kavitha reportedly alleged that Prudhvi Raj has taken Rs 2 lakh cash and gold from her and that he is not allowing her to enter their house. A case under sections 420 (cheating) and 498-A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered with Banjara Hills police station.

This is Kavitha's second marriage. She met Prudhvi Raj through a common friend and married him after divorce from her first husband in 2010.

Prudhvi Raj's family members have expressed shocked over the reports. His son Sreenu, who is currently in New Jersey, took to the actor's Facebook page on Sunday evening to clear the air.

In his post, Sreenu claimed that the reports about his father are false and it is an attempt to malign his image. Here is the Facebook comment of Prudhvi Raj's son:

He's my hero and We have a strong faith on him. I request all the fans and wellwishers not to believe in false rumours as such and to the people who're creating such rumours, We know that you're unable to digest dad's success and henceforth are spreading senseless rumours. Dad is currently at outdoor shooting and I'm on my way back. Will give a brief once I return back to the city. Requesting all the fans and wellwishers not to believe in such rumours.
