Bengaluru Bulls in action against Jaipur Pink Panthers on WednesdayPress release

Bengaluru Bulls take on defending Pro Kabaddi champions Patna Pirates in their penultimate home game on Thursday. At the moment, the Bulls are sixth in the table and they have not been able to make use of their home matches.

Against Pirates, who are currently third in the table, not much fight back could be expected from the Bengaluru side. The Bulls, led by Surender Nada, lost five of their nine games -- which includes two home defeats -- in the Pro Kabaddi season four.

Surender's side lost out to Telugu Titans in their first home game of the season on Tuesday and then suffered a narrow loss against inaugural Pro Kabaddi champions Jaipur Pink Panthers on Wednesday at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium. The likes of Rohit Kumar and Deepak Dahiya performed well for Bengaluru Bulls, but Pink Panthers, co-owned by Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, just eked out the win.

Rohit has remained consistent for the Bulls but the rest of the players haven't been able to maintain their consistency. It needs to be seen now whether they can get all their morale back ahead of the game with Patna Pirates.

The Pirates, led by Dharmaraj Cheralathan, suffered a dip in their form as they suffered two consecutive defeats against Dabang Delhi and Pink Panthers in their previous two matches of the season.

Both the sides are keen on making it to the knockout stages and therefore the importance of this game is major. Patna Pirates beat Bengaluru Bulls on both occasions in the season three of Pro Kabaddi held earlier this year.
