Dabang Delhi (team with five players) will go up against Puneri Paltans in the Pro Kabaddi League.Pro Kabbadi League

Telugu Titans go up against Dabang Delhi in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Rajiv Gandhi Port Stadium in Vizag on Tuesday.

The Titans are in red-hot form going into the game, which will be their third in three days. They registered a resounding win against the Puneri Paltan on Monday. Furthermore they have not lost their last four encounters. The boys from Vizag even beat table-toppers U Mumba in a closely contested match.

The Titans in this game should expect a stiff challenge from Dabang Delhi who are also in good form and are desperate for a win. It is imperative for the Titans to continue their undefeated run as they still have not secured a playoff spot. Despite their good form, the Titans are in fifth place, behind Bengaluru Bulls and above Dabang Delhi. As these teams are precariously placed at this point it's almost a winner-takes-all situation.

The Titans, who began the tournament by holding U Mumba to a draw, fell away in the later games. Their performances were patchy to say the least. As a result of this out of eight games they have four wins and four losses.

It was against the Puneri Paltan, earlier on in the tournament, that they suddenly struck form and have not looked back since. In their previous encounter they were nothing short of stupendous. In front of a buoyant home crowd they rendered Puneri Paltan apart 60-24. The offense was in a league of their own as they scored at will.

Here Deepak Hudda's 16 points were instrumental in winning the match. Hudda apart, Rahul Chaudhari has been the star for them. Once again they will look for these two to come good.

Dabang Delhi, one spot below, the Telugu Titans will be looking to upstage them. Like the Titans, they did not start the tournament well but have come into their own as it has progressed.

They too have not lost their four encounters. Furthermore, they have victories over strong outfits like U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls. It was a 46-36 victory over Bengal Warriors which saw things change for them. The defence seems to have improved a lot as the tournament has progressed. As always, a lot will depend on Kashiling Adake and Surjeet Narwal.

It would be hard to pick a favourite here as both teams are on a bit of roll going undefeated in four games. Both Telugu Titans and Dabang Delhi need to win to stay in the hunt to secure a playoff spot.
