Dabang Delhi( team whose players have white and red boots) will play Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi LeaguePro Kabbadi League

Bengal Warriors will go up against Dabang Delhi in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Thyagaraj Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday.

Both teams have a lot to play for in this match. The Warriors won a very close game in Kolkata the week before but with two wins from five matches, they will seek to improve their position in the league. At present they are placed fifth.

Delhi would be hoping for a win as they play their third match in as many days. They are at the bottom of the table, with a solitary win in six games. On Tuesday against Jaipur Pink Panthers, they had ended up on the losing side.

Delhi's defence has caused them serious problems in the Pro Kabaddi League. Teams have raced away to huge leads in the early stages of the match. This was on view against the Panthers as well, leaving them with them too much ground to recover in the end.

Unless Delhi sort out their defensive problems soon, they will finish the tournament at the bottom of the table.

In the reverse fixture, Jang Kun Lee had posed many problems for Delhi. It remains to be seen how they attempt to keep him at bay tonight. But the Delhi offence - especially Kashiling Adake and Surjeet Narwal - have been exceptional, often keeping the team in the game when it seemed lost. Once again, they will play a crucial role.

The Warriors, who lost their first two games against leaders U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls, seemed to have found their way after notching up victories against Delhi and Puneri Paltan. But defeat in their fifth game in the reverse fixture against U Mumba meant they lost some ground again.

Defensive problems dog the Warriors too as in their last game against the marauding U Mumba, they gave away a sizable lead in the first half itself. They cannot afford to make mistakes against the likes of Adake and Narwal.

In their last game against Delhi, the Warriors went on the attack straightaway and racked up a 28-14 lead early on. In the end, however, the game was a close one as Delhi scored some crucial points with the game coming to a close.

The Warriors will need to tighten their defence. Lee and Nitin Madane will again play important roles for Bengal.

Bengal have to find more wins to go up the table, while Delhi have to somehow find a way to survive - another tight contest is on the cards.
