Bengaluru Bulls go up against Dabang Delhi at the Sri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune on Thursday.

The Bulls will play their second game in two days. In their previous encounter against leaders U Mumba they came out victorious in a very closely-fought match. The Bulls will take the momentum of that win into the game against Dabang Delhi.

The boys from Delhi can take heart from the fact that they haven't lost their last two matches. They dominated a strong Patna Pirates outfit and tied the game. In the match before that they beat Bengal Warriors to snap a losing streak.

Dabang Delhi would have been disappointed that they were unable to force to a win against the Pirates. They began the match really well as they led by 14-5 early on. From here on the game was theirs for the taking but the Pirates kept hitting back.

Delhi have shown considerable improvement after their far from ideal start to the tournament, but defensively they still have problems which was clearly seen in the game against the Pirates. Furthermore they need to start chalking up wins to pose a threat to the higher-ranked sides. A mere two wins doesn't make for good reading for a Dabang Delhi fan.

Their victory against the Bengal Warriors would have raised hopes of better performances in the future. Raider Kashiling Adake and Surjeet Narwal's good performances throughout the tournament augurs well for them. It'll be interesting to see how they progress against the tight Bengaluru Bulls defence.

The boys from Bangalore would have gained a lot of confidence after their victory over U Mumba. The aggression that they displayed would be heart-warming for their fans. At no stage did they give up as they consistently hit back against a very strong outfit such as U Mumba.

Furthermore, the Bulls defence has shown it is least likely to wilt in the face of attacks. The U Mumba attack which has run away with the game often in this tournament found it hard to break the Bulls defence. The Bulls' never say die attitude has held them in good stead when on the attack. Skipper Manjit Chillar has led from the front with crucial points in tight matches while Ajay Thakur, the raider, has been a constant threat.

Bengaluru Bulls are in line for their third consecutive win while Dabang Delhi need more triumphs to move up the table -- both teams are expected to go hard at each other.
