The third season of the Pro Kabaddi League features 26 international players from as many as 11 countries, who, excluding the Asian sub-continent, hail from countries like Japan, Oman, Thailand, Indonesia as well as Kenya and Poland.

Pro Kabaddi League 2016 also goes bi-annual from this time, and the excitement level notches a level. Plenty of steps are being undertaken to make the blockbuster league rise higher and even exceed expectations.

The organisers are not only making efforts this time to popularise the game across the world but also insisting on spreading the spectacle of Pro Kabaddi League across every household.

"The sport must not just encourage our players, but also give countless millions who follow it a thrill, Janardan Singh Gehlot, President, International Kabaddi Federation was quoted by the franchisee league's official site. "The past two seasons have proven that the country is ready to not only watch and accept more of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi, but also form loyalties toward players and teams. Season 3 will only reinforce the loyalties."

Star players of Season 2, namely Shabeer Bapu, Ajay Thakur, Rishank Devadiga, and so on, will be seen in action this time as well. There has been a few additions and release of players by the eight sides in the last few months, and the balance and shape of every team looks perfect, to say the least.
