Nagpur, Aug 11 (ANI): Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra stressed on the need for empowering women and inculcating into them the value of their life, which is demeaned generally by the male gender. Chopra discussed various social issues like domestic violence, gender inequality and importance for education of women as she addressed an event of UNICEF in Nagpur city of Maharashtra. The brand ambassador of UNICEF in India emphasised upon an education programme, Deepshikha aimed at empowering the fairer sex of the country socially, economically and morally. Chopra, in her address, cited several instances on how Indian women have supported their families in difficult times and proven themselves.
