After releasing Prithviraj Sukumaran's first-look poster, the makers of the upcoming Malayalam movie "Oozham," have decided to release its official teaser along with megastar Mammootty's most anticipated film "Kasaba."
The teaser will be officially released by Prithviraj, director Jeethu Joseph and producers G George and Anto Padinjarekkara at 10:10 a.m. in Anand theatre, Kottayam on July 7. It will be attached with the Mammootty-starrer, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on Thursday. The teaser will also be released on the video-sharing website YouTube the same day.
The upcoming revenge thriller is the second association of Prithviraj and Jeethu after the critically acclaimed crime thriller "Memories" in 2013. The director had recently claimed that the movie is not a suspense thriller like his previous blockbuster "Drishyam," which was remade into many languages and fared well at the worldwide box office.
Anil Johnson has composed the music for "Oozham," for which the lyrics have been penned by Santhosh Varma. Shamdat Sainudeen and Ayoob Khan have handled the cinematography and editing departments, respectively of the thriller, which is being produced under the banner of Fine Tune Pictures. The film is expected to hit the screens on September 8.
Meanwhile, debutant director Nithin Renji Panicker's "Kasaba" is one of the most-hyped projects of Mammootty, in which the megastar plays a cop after five years. The movie, said to be a comedy action thriller, has already raised the expectations of the audience. Its 28-second teaser has gone viral on social media with more than one million views recorded within 99 hours of it getting released online.
