In what seems to be a casting coup, ace Malayalam director Renjith has roped in Prithviraj to play an important role in his next project. He has already signed up Mohanlal and Manju Warrier to play the lead roles.

This is Manju's comeback film after a 14-year hiatus. Manju left films after her marriage with Dileep and Mollywood has been eagerly waiting for her return to the silver screen. She was voted as best actress in Malayalam in a recent poll, despite not starring in any film in over a decade.

Mohanlal confirmed the news on his Facebook page saying, "One more confirmed project... After Spirit my next movie with director Ranjith. I will be sharing screen along with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manju Warrier under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas."

The project is the most-awaited film in recent times. Mohanlal and Prithviraj had teamed up in "Twenty Twenty" but did not share screen time. They were signed up by Lal Jose for "Cousins", but the film was shelved due to unknown reasons.

Prithviraj is having a great year at the box office after a disastrous 2012. His last two films, "Mumbai Police" and "Memories", were appreciated by critics and audience alike.

Meanwhile, Manju has been on a signing spree after announcing her comeback. She has already signed Roshan Andrrews' next film "How Old are You?" with Kunchako Boban. She will also be seen in Salim Ahmed's next project opposite Suresh Gopi. Mohanlal will do a cameo in this film, while Saradha and Padmapriya will appear in important roles.
