In a few weeks, the liars will return to Rosewood after a five-year time jump and with that, "Pretty Little Liars" will adopt more drama and perhaps a murderous tone in its plot. The show, which is currently on a mid-season break, returns to television screens on Tuesday, January 12, and in a recent interview, executive producer Marlene King teased certain characteristics of the new villain.

The last episode of the mid-season finale included a scene in which they refer to the new "Big Bad" as "He." In continuation, King shed some thoughts on how villainous "He" could be.

In a Twitter Q and A, King said, "It is the UBER BAD you have been waiting for."

Furthermore, Sasha Pieterse added, "Charlotte was much more about playing the game...This new villain has a whole new motive - and it's really deadly. It's like. 'Do this, or I'll kill you.' Charlotte and her games look like child's play in comparison."

Furthermore, she said that the end of Season 6 will reveal who the villain is related to.

Ever since King shared this information, rumours and speculation about the new "Big Bad's" identity have surfaced.

Some fans argued that it could be Aria's twin (Lucy Hale) after Marlene King posted a behind-the-scenes photo of the actor. One fan commented, "What if this is her twin???" and "Aria is BIG A!!!" and "She's going to die."

Meanwhile, several other reports suggest that it could be Mike (Cody Christian) or Ezra's (Ian Harding) younger brother, Wesley (Gregg Sulkin), who is tech savvy and could easily pry on Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and send them notorious texts.

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B airs on Tuesday, January 12 on ABC Family.
