'Pretty Little Liars' Season 5 Spoilers: Who is Most Likely to be A?

The upcoming episodes of "Pretty Little Liars" season 5 are going to be memorable, as Alison's trial begins and the Liars rush to find out clues to save their friend as well as themselves.

The previous episode saw "A" succeeding in landing Hanna in jail with Alison, and the duo will undoubtedly butt heads, as Hanna feels Alison has sold her out. But at the end of the episode titled "To Plea or Not to Plea", Alison seemed ready to deal with whatever the sinister A throws her way.

The episode also saw Aria and Ezra finally calling it quits on their relationship after Aria admitted that she missed out on high school because of Ezra. Although, some fans are disheartened to see the central couple of the show split, Ezra's behaviour has fans suspecting that he could either be Varjack or A.

Suspicion has been raised because Ezra has made a number of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" comment, such as comparing Alison to Holly Golightly, Varjak's love interest in movie.

"Ezra is Varjack.. Or at least knows who he is. Dude has made way too many subtle Breakfast at Tiffany's references in previous episodes," one fan wrote, supporting his belief that Ezra isn't as innocent as he seems. "Go talk to Ezra about who Varjack is going to be a bit Awks considering he probs is Varjack lol," another wrote.

"Pretty Little Liars" author Sara Shepard remained neutral on the "who is Varjack debate," tweeting: "Some people are saying Varjack is Ezra bc of the Breakfast at Tiffanys ref. Thoughts? #PrettyLittleLiars."

Meanwhile, the next episode will see the beginning of Alison's trial, and according to the synopsis of the episode, Ali isn't as confident about the outcome.

The official synopsis reads: "Alison's trial is about to begin and the once-confident Queen Bee is not so confident about her fate, as testimony reveals not only her lies but the lies of those close to her. Meanwhile, Spencer, Aria, Emily and Caleb search for information to clear the imprisoned Hanna following a string of clues that might have been left by Mona or possibly planted by 'A'".
