Finally, the first teaser poster of Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" (PRDP) is out. 

Salman took to Twitter to unveil the teaser poster of his upcoming film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" on Tuesday. The teaser poster shows Salman is back with his popular character 'Prem'. 

The poster shows Salman aka Prem in blue kurta, white dhoti and an orange scarf.  

Even, the teaser poster reads, "Iss Diwali Prem is Back." The poster further confirmed the trailer release date of the film, i.e., 1 October.

The trailer will be launched on digital platforms on 1 October, while the theatrical trailer will be attached with Akshay Kumar's "Singh Is Bliing". 

Director Sooraj Barjatya and Salman have teamed up after 16 years for "PRDP". Barjatya has directed mostly family dramas, but "PRDP" is different from his previous films and it will feature some action sequences.

In the movie, the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor will play a double role -- one as a common man and the other as a prince. And when it comes to stories of kingdoms, action scenes are a must. Hence, Salman and Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is playing the character of Salman's step-brother, will be seen fighting with each other.

The movie has been making headlines for breaking records after the makers sold its music rights for a whopping Rs 17 crore. This is a major step as no Bollywood film has ever managed to close such a deal earlier.

Being produced by Rajshri Productions, the family drama is set to release on 12 November.

The film, which will feature Sonam Kapoor as a princess, also has Anupam Kher, Armaan Kohli, Swara Bhaskar and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles.
