Huge box office numbers are being predicted for Salman Khan starrer "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" (PRDP). After the major success of his last film, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", bets are high on "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" to cross the Rs 300 crore mark.
And, considering the hype, which is at its peak, the film is set to enjoy a bumper opening at the worldwide box office.
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film features Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. The film marks the return of blockbuster jodi of director Sooraj Barjatya and Salman and thus, fans have high expectations from "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and hope it performs well at the box office.
The family drama will be released in theaters on 12 November (Thursday) worldwide. Apart from being a solo release, the film will enjoy an extended weekend, as it is releasing on a Thursday.
Also, the word of mouth is positive and with strong promotion, the film will open with good occupancy at the box office. The film also has a benefit of Diwali holidays, which will help "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" to enjoy a good first week.
Even trade analysts have predicted that Salman's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will cross Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office.
So, if "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" manages to cross Rs 300 crore, then it will be Salman's second film of the year to enter the rare triple century club. But, it remains to be seen whether "PRDP" will emerge as Salman's highest grosser or not.
