Even as the controversies around Pratyusha Banerjee's alleged suicide continue to shock the nation, latest reports suggest that a production house is planning to make a film on Pratyusha's life. The makers had recently announced the biopic on Pratyusha at a studio in Andheri, Mumbai, the Times of India reported.

Actress Tanisha Singh, who has worked in a few South Indian films, will reportedly play the role of Pratyusha, while the role of Pratyusha's boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh will be played by actor Sharavan Raghav. The report also said that the film will go on the floors in May.

According to a Tellychakkar.com report, Green Leaves Star Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Sudha Films will be producing the film, which will be directed by Mukesh Narayan, who has helmed the upcoming films, "Teri Fitrat" and "Ishq Barsa De Piya."

Meanwhile, according to latest reports in Pratyusha's alleged suicide case, doctors at JJ Hospital have confirmed that the "Balika Vadhu" actress was pregnant and had possibly undergone an abortion a few days before her death. Rahul, who has been accused of abetment to suicide and also forcing Pratyusha to abort her child, had denied all the allegations against him, stating that Pratyusha's abortion was done with mutual consent.

Also, Falguni Brahmabhatt, the lawyer fighting the case for Pratyusha's parents, had reportedly quit the case. According to reports, Pratyusha's parents have now appointed Special Public Prosecutor Nilesh Pawaskar, who is an associate of lawyer Neeraj Gupta. The latter was earlier Rahul's lawyer, but he later quit the case claiming he was "kept in dark" by his client and his family about many important details. After Brahmabhatt came to know about Pawaskar's appointment, she informed Pratyusha's parents that she would not team up with Pawaskar in the case.

Pratyusha was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her apartment in Goregaon on April 1.
