Thimpu, Nov 08 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee met Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay in a bid to strengthen the friendly relations between the two nations. Mukherjee is on a two-day official visit to Bhutan in order to discuss bilateral and regional issues. Foreign secretary, Sujatha Singh said that India attaches great importance to Bhutan. President Mukherjee was accompanied by other delegates who also attended the hydel power presentation. Reportedly, New Delhi and Thimphu agreed to develop 10,000 MW of hydropower 2020 for which India will be the biggest buyer.
