Prabhas starrer "Baahubali - The Beginning" (Bahubali) has failed to break the TRP record of Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

The Hindi version of "Baahubali" premiered on Sony Max on 25 October, and became the second-highest TRP-rated film, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" still being on the top of the list.

While, Salman Khan's latest blockbuster has the highest TRP rating of 15.5, S S Rajamouli's directorial "Baahubali" claimed a TRP rating of 13.5, beating Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots", which is in the third place with 10.9.

"Baahubali" turned out to be the highest-grossing Indian film in the domestic market, but its world TV premiere could not overtake Kabir Khan-directed "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

However, the Telugu version of "Baahubali" came up as the highest TRP-rated Telugu movie ever, beating films like "Gabbar Singh", "Magadheera" and "Attarintiki Daredi".

Director S S Rajamouli was apparently quite happy with the kind of promotions Sony Max did before the film's world TV premiere.

"Baahubali" featured Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia, among others, in key roles, and the makers have already started shooting for its sequel "Baahubali - The Conclusion".

On the other side, Salman Khan will soon be seen in another much-awaited flick, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", which also features Sonam Kapoor. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film will present Salman in a double role and is slated for release on 12 November.
