"KL10 Pathu" is written and directed by debutant Muhsin Parari is touted as a comedy entertainer. The story of the movie revolves around Ahmed, a commoner but is a semi – urban man with a personality of humour in him. The makers claim that Unni's character would be completely different from the roles he had played earlier.

"I have been working on my look for this film for the past two months, even during the schedule of Fireman. KL10 Pathu's character Ahmed is a commoner, for whom I have to sport a lean look. My current fitness regime — with a lot of running included — is designed to shed the muscles and get the right appearance for this role. After putting in a lot of effort to build my muscles, it's not easy to say goodbye to them. However, I liked this role, and hope that the new look will help me play it well,"

The shooting of the movie is expected to kick start by end of January in various locations in Malappuram and Kozhikode.

"The movie is a romantic comedy and Unni's character is a semi-urban guy with a humour element in his personality. It will be different from all the macho roles he has played so far. Football also plays a major role in the film. In some way or the other, the lead characters are connected to the game," added director Muhsin.

The film also has star cast of Sreenath Bhasi, Shine Tom Chacko, Aneesh Menon, Soubin and Mamukkoya and the music of the movie is composed by Bijibal.

The movie is produced by Lal Jose's LJ films. Lal Jose had previously produced and directed Unni Mukundan's hit movie "Vikramdithyan". Meanwhile, the actor is also awaiting the release of his film "Fireman" which stars Mammootty in the lead.
