The post-production work of Rajesh Pillai's much-awaited movie "Mili" is happening at a brisk pace. Though the movie was earlier scheduled to release for Christmas, the makers have now decided to release it in January 2015 due to pending post-production work.
As per latest reports, the makers are busy editing and mixing the back ground score. Director Rajesh Pillai and Gopi Sundar have shared the news about "Mili" on their respective Facebook pages and have assured that the movie will be a treat for the audience.
"Mili postproduction works progressing smoothly ... Heard two reels of RR from Gopi Sunder and i'm extremely happy with the result... Final edit is also coming into a shape from Abhilash Balachandran and i promise Mili Malayalam Movie will be a treat to everyone who is waiting for it. Mili will reach theatres soon," wrote Rajesh Pillai
"Mili first half background score over ,I am waiting for the second half picture to come on 17th, 2nd reel going on.. a beautiful film," wrote Gopi Sunder
"Mili" is touted as a motivational film with commercial elements, where Amala Paul will reprise Mili, which is said to be a challenging role for the actress. She plays an introvert, who is down in the dumps but manages to rise above many challenges and take back the reins of her life.
Nivin plays the character of Naveen, who is a soft-skills trainer and a big influence in Mili's life.
The movie also features Sija Rose, Shamna Khasim, Devi Ajith, Ambika, Praveena, Sai Kumar, Sanusha and Sou Sadanandan.
The script is penned by Mahesh Narayanan and the movie is produced by Ordinary Films.
