Porsche India has launched special edition of the Cayenne SUV christened as Platinum Edition. The special edition is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. It has been priced at Rs 1.06 crore and Rs. 1.08 crore for both the versions (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), respectively.
On the exterior, the Platinum edition comes with large 20-inch wheels in RS Spyder design that are housed in wider wheel arches. The special edition boast of Bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Power Steering Plus and Park Assist in the front and back also come standard. A non-metallic black and white finish is standard for the Platinum edition, while Deep Black, Purpurite, Mahogany, Carrera White or Rhodium Silver metallic paints available as an option.
The interior is dominated by leather sport seats with electric eight-way adjustment, Alcantara centre panels and the Porsche crest on all head rests. The Platinum Edition also features the latest generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a seven-inch touchscreen and support for Apple CarPlay and navigation. Other premium features include a BOSE Surround Sound system and an analogue clock integrated in the dashboard.
The Cayenne Platinum edition is available with 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that develops 245bhp and a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine that develops 300bhp. Porsche India has commenced booking for the special edition while deliveries are expected from August.
