From beef ban, Nirbhaya documentary ban, "Fifty Shades of Grey" ban to porn ban, India has witnessed quite a lot of bans in recent times, with the word 'ban' apparently becoming the 'national word of India'.

After the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) blocked 857 porn websites to comply with an order issued by the Modi government, porn ban has become a hot topic of discussion in India.

People active on social media have not only criticised the BJP-led NDA government for the ban, which they feel tramples upon their personal liberties, but also made fun of it using the hastag #NextBanIdea, suggesting more things that the Central government could look to ban.

The topic has also been debated ad nauseam by many news channels and online portals.

After a host of celebrities such as Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and Indian author Chetan Bhagat, Malayalam actor Prathap Pothen has now come forward to reveal his stand on the matter.

Pothen calls the ban on porn websites as 'a ban on masturbation' in India and adds that 'the next ban will be castration'.

He also recalls that the country is banning all the 'little rights that no one can complain about'.

With the increasing number of bans, he also says that in future, everybody will require permission to even think.

Pothen has also posted some quotes by few actors and writers on the topic masturbation.

We have reason to believe that the first man walked upright to free his hands for masturbation ...Lily Tomlin

You cannot blame porn. When I was young .I used to masturbate to Gillian's island ... Ron Jeremy

'Twas the night before thanksgiving
All the foods in the oven
And I am in the bedroom performing self loving ... Craig Ferguson
