Controversial reality show "Bigg Boss" might be a few people's claim to fame, but there are a few celebs who refused to be a part of the show and open up about their private lives. 

Here are those celebs who turned down the offer of  being a part of the "madhouse."

Honey Singh

Popular rapper Honey Singh had been approached by the makers to be a part of the show as a contestant in season 6. But the star turned it down as he was not happy with the little amount he was being paid, according to Hindustan Times.

Jackie Shroff

Actor Jackie Shroff was offered  ₹1 crore to enter "Bigg Boss" house but he refused the proposal. Daily Bhaskar reports that Shroff was willing to host the show but refused to come onboard as a participant.

Poonam Pandey

It has often been said that model Poonam Pandey would be a part of the controversial reality TV show. But she is known to have slammed such rumours.  "I won't hide things. I have no connection with Bigg Boss and I don't know why my name comes up almost every year," she told The Times Of India,

Evelyn Sharma

Makers of "Bigg Boss" have tried to get "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" actress Evelyn Sharma onboard as a contestant thrice. She was approached even in season 8, but the actress turned down the offer and said: "I think 'Bigg Boss' is the most entertaining show on Indian television. However, I'm claustrophobic and I can't be stuck in one house for so long," according to India Today.

Shiney Ahuja

Four years ago, actor Shiney Ahuja refused to be the part of the reality show.  "I was approached for the show four years ago, but had made it clear that I would never be part of it. Still, every year they keep using my name. It's time they stopped" he told mid-day, "

Taslima Nasreen

Controversial writer Taslima Nasreen was offered to be a part of season 8, but she refused. "Colors tv called.Wants me in Bigg Boss.I politely refused. Said,'u'll get chance2 show urslf 2world&u'll get money'.Then I impolitely refused," she tweeted.
