The A-list stars from Kollywood may not have any release for Pongal this year, but they will entertain the small screen audience. Well, some of their big films from 2015 are set for its television premiere during the festive season.

The biggest films of the lot are Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal", Kamal Haasan's "Papanasam", Vikram starrer "10 Endrathukulla" and Dhanush's "Maari". Apart from these films, there are also films like Mani Ratnam directorial "Ok Kadhal Kanmani", Jyothika's comeback film "36 Vayadhinile", SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali", Vishal Krishna's "Paayum Puli", Sarkunam and Adharvaa's "Chandi Veeran", "Naaigal Jaakirathai" and "Kuttram Kadithal". These flicks will be aired on Tamil TV channels between 15 to 17 January.

Sun TV will air Kamal Haasan's "Papanasam". The movie, which was a remake of Malayalam blockbuster "Drishyam", had Gouthami in the female lead role. The film was written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. It was a family entertainer, which was released on 3 July, 2015.

Jaya TV is gearing up to air Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal". It was written and directed by Gautham Menon. Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty had played female lead roles in the film. It was one of the biggest releases of 2015 and had hit the screens on 5 February.

Vijay TV has two big films in the form of Dhanush's "Maari" and Vikram's 10 Endrathukulla". While the "Kolaveri di" hitmaker's film was directed by Balaji Mohan of "Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi" fame, Chiyaan and Samantha's flick was produced by AR Murugadoss and directed by Vijay Milton of "Goli Soda" fame. It has to be noted that the movie was released just four months ago (October 2015).

However, the airing timings of most of the films have not been revealed yet by the respective channels. So far, only the timing of "Maari" premiere (7 pm on 16 January) has been confirmed.
