Shah Rukh and Salman Khan might have buried the hatchet and moved on, but their fans are still debating over who is the best.

The two reigning superstars have a couple of releases this year and are likely to lock horns in 2016 as SRK's "Raees" and Salman's "Sultan" will hit the screens next year. According to the results of a Bollywood Life poll, majority of the voters think SRK will win the box office war in 2016. The "Happy New Year" star finished first with 57 per cent votes, whereas Salman received only 43 per cent.

A few days ago, it was reported "Raees" has been blocked for Eid 2016. Considering the history SRK created with "Chennai Express" (released in Eid 2013), it was only fair that the makers picked the holiday weekend over the staple Diwali days.

But there's a murmur that Yash Raj Films is also planning an Eid release for "Sultan", in which Salman will be seen playing a boxer. But chances of a clash of the titans are looking bleak.

"Salman has not started Sultan. Shah Rukh too has not started shooting for Raees. Salman will wrap up Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and move on to Sultan, where he plays a boxer. Now with Raees definitely coming next Eid, YRF will definitely be shifting Sultan to a later date," a source said, according to DNA.

Shah Rukh is busy wrapping up the shoot for Maneesh Sharma's "Fan" in Croatia at present, on completion of which he'll move on to Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale". Starring Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, the film promises to be a rom-com that will be laced with a couple of action sequences.

Salman, currently, is busy finishing Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" alongside Sonam Kapoor, after which he is scheduled to go on a month-long shoot in the charming valleys of Kashmir.
