Srinagar, Nov 29 (ANI): People in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reeled under cold weather conditions. Dense fog hit visibility and cold wave forced people in Srinagar to stay indoors. Reportedly, minimum temperatures in Srinagar remained below zero degrees Celsius. The northern state witnessed worst flooding in September in which hundreds were killed and marooned. The valley is still recuperating from the aftereffects. The famous tourist resort of Gulmarg recorded minus 2 degrees Celsius temperature while Leh was coldest at minus 9.7 degrees Celsius. Srinagar, Nov 29 (ANI): Seven civilians and one CRPF jawan was injured after terrorists hurled grenade at a CRPF bunker at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on Saturday. Bikers loot Rs1.5 crore from cash van outside Citibank ATM in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Two unidentified men on a bike opened fire at the security guard and took away about Rs.1.5 crore from a cash van in Delhi on Saturday. According to police, the incident took place around 11 am when the cash van came to refill a Citibank ATM in north Delhi's Kamla Nagar market area. Siliguri, Nov 29 (ANI): Rebecca Aditi Sandlert, who was adopted by a Swedish parent, thirty four years back, returned to India in search of her real parents in Siliguri. Born of a Nepali mother and Bengali father on June 28, 1980 Sandlert landed at an orphanage in Kolkata from a nursing home in Siliguri. Her mother gave her up after she was left with no resources to support the child being a single parent as her husband had left her following his family's opposition to the marriage. Snowfall in Pir ki Gali in Rajouri district dropped temperatures as the Meteorological Department, had predicted snowfall in the higher reaches of the state. Residents are worried that the continuous snowfall will block the Mughal road, which will affect businesses and tourist movement. The road brings Poonch and Rajouri district in the state closer to the summer capital, Srinagar in Kashmir valley.
