Japanese firms using zero emission plan to protect environment

Tokyo, Nov 04 (ANI): Strict management and warm hospitality are distinctive characteristics of Japan. Pentagon report says Pak using militants as proxies to counter India, Reactions flow

New Delhi/ RS Pura, Nov 04 (ANI): The Pentagon has brought to the attention of the US Congress Pakistan's use of militant groups as proxies. The Pentagon told the US Congress in its latest report 'Progress Towards Security and Stability in Afghanistan'. The report cites the militant attack on the Indian consulate in Herat in Afghanistan in May, which came just ahead of Narendra Modi taking charge as the prime minister. Pentagon also suggested that Pakistan's 'relationships' with militant groups is detrimental to regional stability, especially in neighbouring Afghanistan. Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju while commenting on the pentagon report over Pakistan's proxy war against the country said on Tuesday (November 04) that the nuclear armed neighbour has a policy of state sponsored militancy. Rijiju added that nothing is hidden and everyone is aware about the acts of Pakistan. Security Expert Praful Bakshi said that Pakistan has realised that their army can not confront Indian army. CBI arrests BJD MP in Odisha chit fund scam

New Delhi, Nov 04 (ANI): The CBI on Tuesday arrested Biju Janata Dal MP, Ramchandra Hansda in connection with the Odisha chit fund scam. BJD leader Jay Panda said that the decision is respected as nobody is superior to law and added that the party's leadership will decide the further course of action. Delhi Government formation: LG sends status report to MHA

Curfew imposed in Srinagar ahead of Muharram

Srinagar, Nov 4 (ANI): Even as a complete shutdown is being observed in several parts of the Kashmir valley, Muharram processions would be taken out amid tight security in the state on Tuesday. Security personnel are manning the streets in Srinagar and shops and businesses have been shut down. More than 6,000 police personnel and several drones with live satellite feed would patrol and guard the city so that mourners can observe the Muharram peacefully. The processions would be taken out amid water-tight security, as Shi'ite Muslim mourners indulge in self flagellation, to commemorate the death of Imam Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Mohammad. Security tightened in Trilokpuri on Muharram

New Delhi, Nov 4 (ANI): Security was tightened in Trilokpuri area on the occasion of Muharram on Tuesday. Along with the local police, Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel were also seen on patrol in the area. The police have imposed restrictions on the display of weapons- swords, lathis and knives - during the festival and will be keeping a close watch on the procession. The measures have been taken in the wake of last week's communal clashes in the area which had left five injured including two teenagers. Over 1,000 policemen and paramilitary personnel have been posted at Trilokpuri area after the clashes took place.
