Heavy fog and haze covered Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh, leading to delay and cancellation of trains passing through the area. Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of northeastern Railways, Alok Kumar Singh, said on Thursday (December 04) that drivers are given precautionary orders not to exceed the speed of trains to avoid any mishap amid low visibility. Hoshangabad, Dec 04 (ANI): A bridge under construction collapsed in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh leaving labourers trapped under debris while they are rescued. As per reports, around 40 labourers were feared to be trapped under the debris of the bridge that was being built over the river Narmada. Palamu, Dec 04 (ANI): Police of Palamu district in Jharkhand arrested a hardcore Maoist and recovered a country made pistol, four cartridges, a motorcycle and a mobile phone from him. The arrested Maoist has been identified as Ajay Prasad alias Roshan, the Zonal Commander of Maoist outfit Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC). Superintendent of Police of Palamu, Mayur Patel, said that acting on a tip off, the district police dispatched a team acted to nab Prasad. Prasad is wanted in 10 cases of ransom, kidnapping and murder across Latehar, Garhwa and Palamu districts of Jharkhand.
