New Delhi, Jan 07 (ANI): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said that the fishing boat found off the western coast laden with explosives was a 'terror boat' intercepted by India. India said its forces had killed four Pakistanis planning an attack on Indian soil, although Indian media and opposition parties disputed the official account. Indian intelligence said the crew was planning "an illicit transaction" when the vessel was intercepted on New Year's Eve in the Arabian Sea, 365 km (225 miles) off India's western coast, according to a government statement. Ananthapur, Jan 07 (ANI): At least 14 people were killed and 10 others injured after a passenger bus fell into a gorge in Ananthpur district of Penukonda in Andhra Pradesh. It was going from Madakasira to Penukonda on Wednesday when the accident took place. Police reached the spot and took the bodies out from the gorge. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. Istanbul, Jan 07 (ANI): A female suicide bomber blew herself up inside a police station in Istanbul's Sultanahmet district, killing one officer and wounding another, the city's governor. Police sealed off the street where the attack happened. The woman spoke english as she entered the building but her nationality and identity were unknown, Governor Vasip Sahin told reporters at the scene. Turkish media later said one of the officers died from his wounds. There was no immediate claim of responsibility but the bombing comes less than a week after far-left group DHKP-C said it was behind a grenade attack on police near the prime minister's office in Istanbul.
