New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): Pakistan government has reportedly supported a rally of Jama_at-ud-Da_wah Chief Hafiz Saeed who is involved in various terrorist activities. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Pakistan has always been a supporter of terrorism. Congress leaders Rashid Alvi and Pramod Tiwari condemned this act of Pakistan and said the BJP government should take immediate steps to take up the issue with Pak. New Delhi, Dec 4 (ANI): Alshaya Nasser Travels, one of the two Iraqi government-authorized agencies that facilitate visa processing, has asked tour operators not to accept passports from Indian applicants who are single, under 30 and unaccompanied by family members. The advisory comes after four Kalyan youths, all single and under 30, used the pilgrimage route to travel to Iraq in May and joined the jihadist outfit ISIS there. Politicos reacted on the issue. Arun Jaitley calls for regional cooperation to fight customs violations

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): Inaugurating the 2nd Regional Customs Enforcement Meeting in New Delhi, Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley, on Thursday (December 04) called for greater international and regional cooperation to deal with customs violations. The heads of customs enforcement agencies of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar and Sri Lanka will attend the two- day DRI Day celebrations followed by a meeting where a new proposal for intelligence sharing is likely to be adopted. Five children killed, more than 20 injured as school van collapses with train in UP

Railways cancel 16 trains due to fog in Uttar Pradesh

Gorakhpur, Dec 04 (ANI): The railway authorities cancelled at least 16 trains as dense fog descends upon Uttar Pradesh. Heavy fog and haze covered Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh, leading to delay and cancellation of trains passing through the area. Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of northeastern Railways, Alok Kumar Singh, said on Thursday (December 04) that drivers are given precautionary orders not to exceed the speed of trains to avoid any mishap amid low visibility. Labourers rescued from under debris after bridge collapses in MP

Hoshangabad, Dec 04 (ANI): A bridge under construction collapsed in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh leaving labourers trapped under debris while they are rescued. As per reports, around 40 labourers were feared to be trapped under the debris of the bridge that was being built over the river Narmada. Pak showcases arms and ammunition at international defence exhibition

Acting on a tip off, police arrest a Maoist in Jharkhand

Palamu, Dec 04 (ANI): Police of Palamu district in Jharkhand arrested a hardcore Maoist and recovered a country made pistol, four cartridges, a motorcycle and a mobile phone from him. The arrested Maoist has been identified as Ajay Prasad alias Roshan, the Zonal Commander of Maoist outfit Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC). Superintendent of Police of Palamu, Mayur Patel, said that acting on a tip off, the district police dispatched a team acted to nab Prasad. Prasad is wanted in 10 cases of ransom, kidnapping and murder across Latehar, Garhwa and Palamu districts of Jharkhand. Patel added that Prasad was also involved in extortion activities of TPC-2.
