Islamabad, Jan 13 (ANI): US Secretary of state John Kerry on his visit to Pakistan, said that the nation should fight terror groups that threaten Afghan and Indian and also US interests. US Secretary of state said this as he voiced sympathy for the victims of the December 16 attack on a Pakistani military school. Kerry said that terror outfits like LeT, Taliban and the Haqqani network pose a threat to regional countries like India and the world. Kerry, who travelled to Pakistan from India, said all militant groups should be targeted to bring security to the region. He also offered to help India and Pakistan overcome decades of distrust. Indian army organizes blood donation camp in Kashmir

Budgam, Jan 13 (ANI): Indian army organised a blood donation camp in Jammu and Kashmir in a bid to reach out to the local residents. Many soldiers, along with residents, donated blood at the camp organised in Budgam district. General Officer Commanding Kilo Force of Rashtriya Rifles, Asit Mishra, said that blood donation is the highest form of humanism. Requirement of blood has always been high in the state due to militancy and insurgency activities. The army said it planned to take up similar projects in the future. Politicos welcome after SC gives nod to NRI voting

New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday welcomed Supreme Courts decision to allow NRI voting in India. The plea had long been pending in the Supreme Court which finally gave positive results allowing NRIs to vote through e-voting. BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra said that it was a welcome step and congratulated the Central government for this historic step. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that this step would allow NRIs to actually exercise their rights as citizens of India. New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday called for adequate law and order situation in Delhi as a Delhi Police constable was shot dead by an unidentified assailant and another died after a truck rammed a Police Control Room (PCR) Van in East Delhi's Mayur Vihar around midnight. AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that Delhi needs a stable government which takes care of the national capital, its police force and others. He said that the Delhi Police and their conditions need to be improved and that this can be done only once AAP comes to power. He also demanded compensation to family of the dead constable. Joint survey on India- Myanmar bus service begins

Imphal, Jan 13 (ANI): A joint team of officials from India and Myanmar began a field survey for the proposed Imphal-Mandalay passenger bus service. Ten officials from Myanmar arrived in Imphal to survey the 579-kilometer-long road route from there to Mandalay together with Indian officials. Manipur's Transport Secretary, M Laxmi Kumar said the bus service is in its final stage. The Indian government had already sent a draft report regarding the same to the government of Myanmar and is awaiting its response. Bangladesh PM hits out at BNP Chief Khaleda Zia
