Reactions pour in as RSS journal admits that worried BJP chose Kiran Bedi

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Reactions come in from political parties on Tuesday after RSS mouthpiece Organiser said that the BJP is not 'in a comfortable ground at present' in Delhi, and that the party had inducted Kiran Bedi and projected her as candidate for chief minister after receiving 'adverse feedback from field against the Delhi BJP'. BJP leaders said that the RSS has its own point of view and that the BJP does not comply by the same. AAP leader Kumar Vishwas said that the only effect of Bedi in the party is that her poll campaign manager resigned accusing her of dictatorship. Party leader Sanjay Singh said that there is unrest within BJP. New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday react as the BJP intensified its attack on AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal by releasing another poster mocking him over black money. The advertisement takes a dig at Kejriwal over alleged black money funding to his party. Delhi Polls: Politicos react after Kejriwal alleges EVMs tampered with to help BJP

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Tuesday after AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal alleged large scale tampering of EVMs by the BJP in the Delhi Cantonment area. "Large scale EVM tampering? Yes, during inspection of EVMs in Del cant, in 4 machines, whatever button u pressed, light against BJP lit," the AAP chief had tweeted. Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, "5 AAP leaders will go to SC today at 10.30 am to submit an application for an SIT probe into funding of BJP, Cong n AAP."AAP leader Ashutosh further tweeted, "AAP will write letters to BJP and Congress presidents requesting to cooperate in SIT probe about their fundings for clean politics. Let me ask will Amit Shah and Sonia Gandhi accept AAP's proposal of SIT PROBE ? He further said that this is the round tripping of black money into the political system. Rajasthan Home Minister tests positive for swine flu

Udaipur, Feb 03 (ANI): Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria tested positive for swine flu and is recuperating in his residence. On Sunday evening, Gulab Chand Kataria complained of cold, cough, bad throat, fever. The next day he was tested for the H1N1 virus and by evening it was known that the test report was positive. According to reports, ten more people succumbed to swine flu in Rajasthan counting the death toll to 49 this year. Devotees take holy dip in Varanasi to mark 'Magh Purnima'

Varanasi, Feb 03 (ANI): Thousands of devotees took a dip at 'Sangam', the confluence of river Ganges, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati, in the holy city of Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of full moon day or Magh Purnima on Tuesday. Magh Purnima marks the last day of the month of Magh (January-February) in the Hindu calendar. Devout Hindus stated gathering at the river bank from early in the morning to perform religious rituals. They queued up before priests who had erected makeshift altars on the riverbanks to perform the rituals and offer prayers. Apart from taking a dip in the holy waters, devotees also donate food and clothes on this day. A devotee, Hiranand Pandey said that the tradition is being followed for years now. The month-long festival was marked in Allahabad city and was attended by over 25 lakh pilgrims. According to Hindu practice, a dip at the holy confluence breaks the cycle of rebirth. Feb 3, 2015
