Bihar BJP MLAs may support Jitan Ram Manjhi during vote of confidence, Politicos react

New Delhi/Patna, Feb 19 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday stated that the central leadership will study the ongoing political crisis in Bihar and will announce its decision with regards to supporting ousted Janata Dal (United) and Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi at the floor of the state assembly 'very soon'. Meanwhile, JD (U) leader Ajay Alok accused the BJP of orchestrating the crisis in Bihar. CPI leader CPI leader Atul Anjan also expressed similar sentiments. Earlier this week, JD (U) chief Sharad Yadav had suspended seven ministers loyal to Manjhi from the party, claiming that they have not followed the party directive. Dhaka, Feb 19 (ANI): Senior Islamist leader of Bangladeshs Jamaat-e-Islami Abdus Subhan was sentenced to death by the International Crimes Tribunal court in Dhaka for crimes committed during the 1971 war of independence with Pakistan. Subhan was the chief of Jamaats Pabna unit and was in charge of the party's highest policymaking body during the post-Liberation War in 1971. He has been charged with nine crimes against humanity, including murder, genocide, abductions, detention, torture and loot. Subhan was arrested at the toll plaza of the Bangabandhu Bridge in capital Dhaka on Sep 20, 2012. He was later shown arrested in the war crimes case and was sent to jail.
