Repair works on Big Ben to cost taxpayers £40m

Benjamin Netanyahu: Israel using ‘legitimate force’ in confronting Palestinian attacks

Israel bristled on Thursday (15 October) at US suggestions it may have used excessive force to confront Palestinian stabbings, and also published hospital images it said refuted Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas allegation a teen suspect had been executed.
