Congress to pass anti-graft bill through ordinance, politicos draw contradictory reactions

Mumbai/ New Delhi/ Kolkata/ Lucknow, Feb 22 (ANI): After government decided to pass the Anti-Corruption Bills through an ordinance, political parties draw contradictory reactions over the same. Congress leader Satyavrat Chaturvedi said that opposing the bill reflected the hypocritical nature of the opposition which had earlier asked for a strong law against corruption. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that there is no option left now when opposition never allowed the passage of bills in the Parliament. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal said that passage of any bill can't end corruption in any way. The aircraft, operating flight UA-48 from Newark to Mumbai, was grounded, terming the damage as "major", the sources said, adding it was being suspected that the damage may have been caused during take-off. Mohanty, 59, was driving a scooty back home from a function when two miscreants, who were apparently following him on a two-wheeled vehicle, opened fire at him in a narrow lane near Amala Club in the heart of the town at around 8pm on Friday, sources said. The minister sustained a bullet injury on his left arm and suffered head injuries after he fell from the scooty on being fired at.
