Heavy shelling from the Pakistan side started at around 9:15 pm at Korotana and Chenaj posts in Suchetgarh sector. The Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) also retaliated, resulting in heavy exchanges. Due to shelling, panic-stricken villagers have been forced to abandon their homes and flee to safer places. Head of a village situated near the Line of Control (LoC), Sarwarn Singh, shared his agony.
