New Delhi, Dec 10 (ANI): Former Seemapuri elected Congress MLA Veer Singh Dhingan said that AAP's newly-elected MLA Dharmendra Singh Koli is a drunkard and he and his party leaders threw liquor bottles in his home and mis-behaved with his wife. The Japanese way of waste treatment protects environment

Tokyo, Dec 10 (ANI): This facility in Chofu, Tokyo, has the most advanced municipal waste treatment plant in Japan. The "Green Plaza Fujimi" started its operation in April 2013. It is managed by JFE Engineering to handle combustible waste and produce energy from it. The fully automated unit attracts visitors from abroad, especially Asian countries. A key feature of this facility is "zero emission" - a mechanism to produce zero waste from garbage. The combustible waste of 400,000 citizens is collected in this facility, which has the capacity to burn 288 tons of garbage every day. The facility also generates electricity using a steam turbine engine from heat produced by the incineration of waste. It produces 43.3 million kilowatts per year, which is sold to an electric company. The electricity produced can meet the requirements of about 10,000 households. Dec 10, 2013

Garo community in Nagaland celebrates its post harvest Wangala festival with great enthusiasm

It is a "Thanksgiving" ceremony to Misi Saljong, also known as Pattigipa Ra'rongipa (The Great Giver) for having blessed the human beings with rich harvest of the season.
