Gumla, Sep 23 (ANI): Police and the CRPF organized a programme in Maoist hit Gumla district of Jharkhand to motivate the youth to join mainstream and effectively combat the left wing extremism. Nairobi attack: Family of 13 year old victim pray for his recovery

New Delhi/ Gujarat, Sep 23 (ANI): Grieved family of a a 13-year-old boy of Indian origin hailing from Gujarat pray for his speedy recovery after he was injured in an attack by Islamist militants at an upscale shopping mall in Nairobi. Islamist militants killed at least 68 people in an attack taking many others as hostages. The al Shabaab group that opposes Kenya's participation in a peacekeeping mission in neighbouring Somalia claimed responsibility for the attack. The Indian Foreign Ministry on Sunday confirmed the death of Indian nationals in the assault in Nairobi. Lalit Patel, uncle of the injured boy, Hrithik, told the reporter in Nadiad town of Gujarat that the 13-year-old boy had fractured his leg while trying to save his life during the attack. Militants attack CISF jawans in Srinagar market; one jawan killed

Srinagar, Sep 23 (ANI): A CISF jawan was killed and another critically injured when suspected militants opened fire at them in Srinagar on Monday. The jawans were purchasing something when the militants fired at them from point blank range. According to reports, the attack took place at the busy market place around 10:30 am. At the time of the attack the security personnel were not carrying any arms, the police said. The injured personnel has been rushed to the hospital.
