Ludhiana, May 18 (ANI): A wax museum in Ludhiana city of Punjab has crafted a wax statue of the incoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate his historic win in the general election. The statue is a dedication by the owner of Prabhakar wax museum, Chandrashekhar, who excels in the profession of crafting wax figurines. Chandrashekhar Prabhakar who has been carving wax statues for the past ten years said that he makes the statues so that people can take inspiration from them. Modi's landslide was welcomed with a thundering rally on stock markets and raucous celebrations at offices across the country of his BJP, where supporters danced, exploded fireworks and handed out sweets. Fourteen killed, 20 injured as bus overturns in Jharkhand

Godda, May 18 (ANI): At least 14 people were killed while 20 others injured in a fatal road accident as bus overturned in Godda district of Jharkhand. According to police the bus was returning from a marriage party when the driver, who was drunk, lost control and the vehicle overturned. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in the district, where seven of them were reported to be critical. Twelve were found dead on the spot and later, two succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. Police said investigations were under way and elaborated on the details. The driver is still absconding. Road accidents are common in India, where roads are often of poor quality. May 18, 2014

Fatal collision of four vehicles kills 10 in Gujarat, several injured

Bharuch, May 18 (ANI): Fatal collision of four vehicles – a truck, tanker, bus and a jeep killed 10 people and left several others injured, on the National Highway near Panoli village in Bharuch district of Gujarat. According to police 10 people, which also include the driver of the jeep, were declared dead, while several others in the bus were said to be injured.
