Meghalaya lifts U-17 boys' Subroto Cup

New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): The final match of Under-17 Subroto Cup was held at the Dr. Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi on 21st October between teams from Meghalaya and Assam. The boys from Meghalaya won 4-0. This is the second time that a team from Meghalaya has won the U-17 Boys' title. Teams from all the northeastern states participated in the tournament and performed well. While a school from Mizoram lifted the under-14 boys' cup, a school from Manipur emerged the winner among girls. Although the Assam team failed to win the trophy, they said they were confident of doing better the next year.
