Maoists blow up government building using powerful explosives in Odisha

Malkangiri, Dec 24 (ANI): Maoists blew up a government block office building at Padia area of Malkangiri district in Odisha. The red rebels set the building on fire before triggering a powerful blast, causing extensive damage to the structure, there have been no reports of any injuries till now. Police said a combat operation is underway. In the meanwhile, local residents said at first they mistook the attack as Christmas celebrations but soon realized that the building was on fire.
