JandK: Three terrorists killed in Sopore encounter

Sopore, Jan 14 (ANI): Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir killed three terrorists during an encounter in Sopore district of the province. The police and the Army launched a joint action to search the militants after they got information from intelligence about the militant hideout. The gun battle, which began around 2.00 pm in the Dangerpora area of Sopore district, lasted three hours. The Kashmir region has witnessed numerous militant attacks, insurgency and infiltration attempts from across the border in the last two decades. Jan 14, 2014
