Assam, Jan 8 (ANI): Some 1,500 people, including women and children, from a dozen villages in Karbi Anglong, have taken shelter in relief camps set up in Shantipur, Silonijan and Chowkihola villages. They were forced to flee their homes after clashes erupted between two militant outfits- the Karbi People's Liberation Tigers (KPLT) and the Rengma Naga Hills Protection Force at Khowani village in Karbi Anglong. PM expects 5 % economic growth in 2013/14
